Last weekend our friends Erik and Darla and Darla's father, Daryl visited our cabin at Long Beach. Daryl has been going to Long Beach for 70 years so it was fun to hear him tell about how things have changed. We ate dinner at 42nd Street Cafe' http://www.42ndstreetcafe.com/ which has been a favorite restaurant of his since it opened many years ago.
We all trooped down to the beach to watch Bob fly his kite. Daryl 4 x 4'd ahead of us through the sand with his cane to watch Bob. Being unable to keep up Erik, Darla, & I brought up the rear.
We toured downtown after breakfast and took the obligatory pictures in front of the Long Beach frying pan and giant geoduck statue.
