Chapter 416

It seemed like summer was going to last forever, the all of a sudden the leaves are changing.

Last year the leaves all sorta skipped the autumn color stage and went straight to dead.

This year the yellows are beautiful and Nitro is wondering what the heck happened to his view the past few days

And what's fall without a spiderweb illuminated by dew and the morning sun?

The yard always looks so nice after Bob mows and sucks up the leaves. Unfortunately this time of year, they usually fall right back under the tree by the time he's done mowing.

I'm trying to maintain a little color in our patio since all the flowers are gone now.

The obvious choice is kale since it winter's so well. Besides, I much rather look at kale than eat it.

I just had to squeeze in one more gratuitous pretty yellow tree photo.

Saturday we went to Eileen & Ben's for their son's 1st birthday. Ian is a cutie and was a trooper while 40+ people invaded his personal space.

Reagan was enjoying hitting a T-ball with Grampa's coaching. Fortunately she has an athletic father who can offset any long-term damage Grampa may have done to her athleticism.

Once back home, life wasn't so exciting. Bob put a board around the edge of deck, both for aesthetics and to keep the damn neighbor cat out from under our porch and annoying Nitro.

The big twice-annual car swap. All the cars have to be moved to get the Jaguars into their winter storage positions and allow for space to get some winter work done in the garage.

Have a good week, Everyone!

  1. Love the beautiful fall colors on the trees but glad we don't have them falling in to our yard. I remember those tree's in your back yard being so much smaller 30 years ago!
