Happy Birthday to JoAnn!
And to all our favorite spider killers out there,
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
We didn't do too much exciting during this week. Not that I usually post that we do anything exciting any other week either, but I can usually find something to eek out of the week to write about, but not this one so it's mostly grandkid pics.
We went to Carissa and Chris' house for Father's Day and for Chris and Bob to go fly fishing. After Bob spent a week rummaging through closets and boxes locating his long unused fly fishing stuff, he managed to find enough equipment to outfit both him and Chris.
While the guys are gone, I helped Carissa keep the home fires burning. This meant Reagan was outside playing. She went to "her" snails' favorite hiding places and dug up a couple of snails to play with. The snails appear happy to stick their heads out and slither around on Reagan's hands.
Of course playing in dirt and snails necessitates a bath. For some reason, she thinks Grama gives "fun" baths so I was nominated to supervise bathtime. Reagan had her new birthday bath lights and the glow sticks to make for a fun bath so my intervention was minimal.
Reagan got a new pool and since it was a bit cold outside, Reagan started the day-long swim session in her wet suit that she uses for swim lessons, and ended up in her birthday suit.
Theosnore napped through the swimming part of the day.
Maybe next year Theo will be floating in the pool in his own cute little airplane toy.
They guys came home from fishing and hopped into the pool with Reagan. As you can see, she's a bit confused about them being in the pool with their clothes on. "Can't you see? This is clearly a clothig-free pool".
While Bob looks adoringly at his armful of blankets, Theodore slides into the cracks of the sofa.
Despite needing training in baby handling, Bob's a good grandpa so we overlook some of his smaller shortcomings.
Bear checks Theo out and wonders why this little "visitor" has not gone home yet.

Never too many grandkid pictures or stories--keep them coming. As I've been told, us adults are not that interesting!
