Chapter 462

Image result for happy birthday chris

While we were at "Rebbin Robin" with Reagan, we missed a heck of a crash. The neighbor came over to tell us her tree fell during the wind storm and wiped out both our sheds. This rickety shed was protecting some of the most valuable things we own.

Check out the way this pitchfork handle just poked right through the roof of the shed instead of breaking the handle. So it turns out that we were "protecting" some of our most valuable assets with an even flimsier shed than we thought it was.

Our second shed didn't make out so well either, but at least it's not a total crush like the other one.

While I was helping Bob with the shed, Reagan sat in a chair letting us clean the wood up.

After Bob got the tractor and all the other stuff out of the shed, and the branches off of it, all that is left is this rusty husk of a shed. We gave the wood away for free, but this rusty metal won't disappear with a simple "free" sign by the road.

We went to a craft store with a Mattress Ranch next door and Reagan had to have her picture taken wit it. She's not one to miss getting her picture with any large fiberglass animal that crosses our path.

Reagan was a bit cranky and we needed a quiet place to eat. I figured what's quieter than a Shari's with a bunch of old folks sitting around in their Christmas sweaters? Reagan had a kid's meal that came complete with a cup with a misspelled joke on it to entertain us. Who knew Pierates could learn the alphabet?

Reagan turned out pictures this weekend like an artist at the fair. She had googly eyeballs, sequins, strips of paper, and used every type Crayola writing instrument she could find in her art cart.

Reagan loves to feed Nitro while she's here. Nitro still hasn't figured out that she's the one feeding him. He keeps looking past Reagan to see where I'm gonna put his food down.

Reagan also liked playing with shaving cream in the tub. We ran through about 1/2 of a can of cheap shaving cream. The next day, that shaving cream was still right there where we left it. It didn't even try to break down overnight!

  1. Your poor sheds! Glad they took the hit and not your house!
