Chapter 461

Happy Birthday to

This is going to be a short blog. Since we don't do much that's too exciting, my New Year's resolution is to not fill my blog with insignificant stuff just to kill some inches. Good news for everyone! 

Today was the first morning we had proof of a visible cold snap. My little car doesn't warm up very fast so it's time for me to get my lap blanket out and tuck up realgood before I roll down the hill to work. This little guy greeted me when I opened my door when I got to work to prove that the lap blanket was a good choice.

My weekly Monday coffee had an Air Force sleeve on it. It just seemed like an odd place to advertise for the Air Force, but I guess they have to advertise somewhere, I'm glad it benefits me by keeping my coffee warm on a cold morning. 

 We went to Kingston to watch Reagan while the kids went to Carissa's work Christmas party. For entertainment we took Reagan to the Kingston Ferry Terminal to see the lights. The marina had an amazing display that is free, Free, FREE! This was a cute little house that Reagan had to check out up close and personal.

and insisted she have her picture taken on every large rock. This was a job since every light display was in a planter that included a large rock.

Meanwhile back at the house, Mozzy was mocking Bear for getting stuck outside in the rain. At least Bear had his rain hat on to keep his head dry.

As you know, Bob keeps the cars spotless so he bought himself a cool Black Friday treat to feed his addiction. A wall-mounted vacuum...

 with a million feet of hose that reaches from the far side of the garage clear into the house. 

Kyanne's greyhound, Sally, makes for an absolutely beautiful Christmas photo.

Kyanne's other greyhound, whose name escapes me right now, makes for another type of interesting photo composition although there is a decided lack of grace and dignity in this photo.


 Reagan had to vacate the nursery to make room for Baby Walkeroo. Kids seem to spread their tentacles and manage to take over an entire house so she moved downstairs to squeeze out what was once an office. She loves the new zebra theme she chose for her room.

Chris and Reagan (and photographer Carissa) at a cookie-decorating event at the Borrowed Kitchen Bakery in Kingston. It's a small town, but has lots of civic and merchant activities to keep everyone busy.
