This weekend was to be dedicated to working on Bob's new project, putting hardwood in the upstairs hall and changing our stairs from carpet to hardwood.
Saturday afternoon we went to Darla's for a graduation party in honor of her father who finally received his GED at the age of 79. Daryl never completed high school because he enlisted and became career Army. He worked for the post office until his second retirement. Daryl walked in his graduation ceremony at GRCC then we had a great party with food, friends, and fun.
That night, Carissa asked us to go to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim. It has an interesting history. Among other things, this is where Disney kept and trained their studio animals between filmings. Saturday morning we headed over to Kingston and continued on to Sequim. The animals are in different areas and we drive our own cars among them. Amazingly, the park allowed us to hand-feed the animals bread which made them very happy to see us. It also made a mess of Chris 'n Roo's car.

We started the driving tour with 3 packages of picnic rolls and cruised past the prairie dogs while they watched us.Zebras...

This buffalo is so anxious for his snack, he's sticking his tongue into the car (and slobbering down the side of the car, both inside and out.)

Meet Ricky the rhino. He is absolutely rhino-mungous!
We had a fun-packed weekend after all!
