Saturday night we went to see
Jay Leno Tour for the Troops. Chris got tickets through the Air Force Reserves and it was a great show. It was in one of the hangars right on the runway. We also got a "free" t-shirt and water bottle with each ticket. Kyanne has all our water bottles so it is not included in the picture below.
The show opened with a concert by the
Reserve Generation Air Force Reserve band. Their last act included a bagpipe player in full kilted-ness. I missed exactly why he was there, but it was fun to watch and listen to.
Jay Leno opened with an Osama Bin Laden joke and continued on to dogs and cats, wives, and the entertainment went on from there.
I've never seen Jay in person before and he put on a very energetic performance. After the show, he was out the back door, onto his jet, and taking off before we even left our parking lot. He was probably home in bed in L.A. even before we were.
Oh, Carissa and Chris got me a "Knuckle Pounder" meat tenderizer for Mother's Day.
